Product Description

The Bi-Axial Fiber Grating Sensor is an optical sensor capable of measuring transverse strain orthogonal to the longitudinal axis of the fiber.  It is only 135 microns in diameter and is a non-intrusive, passive sensor with high EMI resistance capable of measuring transverse or shear strain.  ( Blue Road Research recommends 1300nm Bi-Axial Fiber Grating Sensors for embedded applications).
